High pressure will become influential across the United Kingdom over the Bank Holiday period and we’ll see a change from average to a little below average temperatures that we’ve seen of late to well above average temperatures.
We see the heat build over the coming days as we draw in much warmer air in the form a plume from the near continent.
Friday sees temperatures of 25-28c rather widely across Eastern, central, southern and southeastern parts of England. Tomorrow the temperatures are even higher across southern and southeastern parts of England before we see the mercury really start to rise on Sunday and then into Bank Holiday Monday.
Some of the weather models are suggesting maximum temperatures by next Monday/Tuesday of 31-33c, potentially higher.
I’ll monitor the temperatures over the coming days and as always keep you updated via this website and on social media.
