GB Weather LTD is a weather forecasting company that aims to provide an alternative and more accurate forecasting service across both shorter and longer range timescales than other UK providers. This is largely achieved through combining the usual scientific approach of numerical weather prediction analysis with previous experience of where particular forecast models may fall short of reality during particular patterns of weather.

Further to this, we also employ a number of techniques considered by other forecast groups to be ‘experimental’, despite their excellent accuracy record, particularly within the domain of medium range forecasting. These techniques have lead to particular success during the recent winter period, foreseeing the onset of the various spells of cold weather than affected the UK from many weeks away.

Commercial weather provides bespoke weather services ranging from detailed shorter range forecasts, to highly accurate and regularly updated medium and longer range forecasts, including specifically tailored severe weather forecasts.
